Join us for Under the Umbrella: Understanding Kizomba — a two-part workshop series designed to explore the full spectrum of styles that live beneath the Kizomba name.
Across two sessions, we’ll uncover how Kizomba, Semba, Tarraxinha, Tarraxo, Urban Kiz, and Fusion connect, differ, and continue to evolve — musically, culturally, and through movement. You’ll learn to recognize each style’s distinct rhythm, posture, and energy, while deepening your overall connection and musical interpretation.
If you’ve ever wondered how to tell the styles apart or how to dance each with intention and respect, this series is for you.
Dates: Thursdays, November 13 & 20
Time: 7:00–9:00 PM

Pricing: $30 for a single workshop or $55 for both sessions
